TRANSFORMATIVE, PERSONALIZED EDUCATION
Adelphi University is dedicated to transforming students’ lives with a personalized approach to education—and geared to both your academic success and your future career success. Adelphi offers master’s degree programs that respond to in-demand jobs in the market.
Our graduate students benefit from an increased emphasis on world-class academics and an innovative, flexible curriculum that fits in with professional obligations as well as their personal lives, all on a beautiful campus near New York City. Most important, they are successful—in the classroom and beyond.
Adelphi graduates are highly sought-after for managerial and leadership positions. Of those who are working, 94% of the 2014-2015 master's graduates surveyed had jobs related to their majors within one year of graduation. Earning a graduate degree at Adelphi means joining a powerful, well-connected network of alumni—90,000 strong and growing.
Our Center for Career and Professional Development helps baccalaureate and master's-level students and graduates with internships—and helps them prepare for job interviews and résumé preparation as well.
Through innovative programs, expert faculty and excellent networking opportunities, Adelphi graduate programs work for you, even while you attend classes.
Students can choose from a wide array of more than 70 individualized certificate and graduate programs in creative arts, education, business, social work, science and healthcare, tailored by professionals working in their fields and dedicated to student success. Adelphi has added, for example, a Master of Public Health and an M.S. in Healthcare Informatics to its successful stable of programs to answer the challenges of the rapidly growing healthcare industry. And our $76 million, 100,000-square-foot Nexus Building, which opened in Fall 2016, houses ultramodern simulation laboratories and technology-rich classrooms.
Adelphi has a history of producing highly trained and dedicated professionals—all of whom have taken advantage of Adelphi’s faculty mentors and counselors, résumé and job search services and other aspects of an extensive offering of on-campus resources. The Center for Career and Professional Development offers a wide variety of assistance, including a career resource library and a computer-assisted career guidance program, visits by premier recruiters, and, most important, counseling and resources—including résumé workshops and mock interviews—for your search for the right internship or job.
Opportunities abound for Adelphi graduates. If you are interested in learning more about a specific program, there’s someone at any of our Schools or Colleges waiting to help you
